Seed and Sourdough
I decided to bust out the sourdough starter the other day and bake this loaf to go with my mom's birthday dinner. It's got 12 grain, soy and whole wheat flours along with psyllium, flax and pumpkin seeds! There was also a rather unique (and healthy!) addition - mashed Jerusalem artichokes!
The bread got dark and crusty from being baked in a cast iron pot and stays moist and tender inside.
