Airmail 69L eyedropper pen vs cartridges

Newer Older

Ideal for people who are concerned about running out of ink. You are very unlikely to run out with this pen - particularly given that the nib is really rather fine.

Not generally available outside of India, but there are people who sell them on eBay or other sites, and costs are generally reasonable.

    ooooh.
this is interesting. It's annoying going away and not having enough ink in my fountain pens

The downside being that it is not very convenient to fill, of course - you have to unscrew the top and put ink in the barrel with an eyedropper or syringe. But it does hold 4.5ml, which is two to three times what you'd get in a rollerball, and you can top it up before you go.

you've just reminded me that last year i saw a deal from some web site shop on syringe refillers - I always meant to go go back and buy them... but somehow for whatever reason it never happened. Grrrrr.

mmmm regardless i may feel the need to treat myself...

I got this one from an Indian seller on FountainPenNetwork - he had four for sale, there may be some left.

I've ordered one off eBay now. Wonder if it's from the same seller though.
