While I don't know his name, his game to play was basketball with trash apparently. This is a local transient whom I come across on the capital square plenty but never approached for a photograph. While walking State, in dwindling light: I came upon him shooting baskets from the the curb into the trash. When he nailed a shot, he went ecstatic going up to people and asking them if they witnessed his feat, Unfortunately, as he went from one person to another they just blew him off: being homeless, they probably perceived this as a crazy mans ramblings.
When he came to me, he told me that I should have seen his shot and I "should have had my cell phone out to take a picture of it." That's when his eyes shifted from mine, to the camera around my neck. He asked me if I would like to take his picture (mind you normally it is I who asks), and I greatly obliged. After a few quick snaps, he was on his way and I had my picture for the day.
