Although it was national photowalk day, I stayed away from the hoards of people that converged upon the downtown scene with their cameras. I found this fine event "Art in the Park," through the Madison flickr groups. I figured that I would be one of many camera carrying people, but to my suprise found that the only others that had cameras for taking pictures were the artists themselves. This event was held at Brittingham Park off of West Washington Ave. and featured a 320 ft. painting wall. So essentially anyone could bring out their own paint, (spray painters mainly) and paint on a portion of the wall. Only catch is, that once they were done painting and another artist moves in: they can kiss their art good bye as its painted over. I have lots more shots to go through but I feel that this one gave a great sense of depth for the wall. And although you only see one artist, the walls seems to go on and on. Good times, happy images. GO ME :D
