Pumpkin Seedlings In Immature Compost – Red Moon Sanctuary, Redmond, Western Australia

This year Sue decided to plant trios of pumpkin seedlings straight into immature compost, to put it to work immediately. After pumpkin harvest, the remaining mature compost will be used on fruit trees. The compost frame is taken off once the seedlings start to outgrow the space – until then, it is shelter.
