Polaroid SX-70, open, left side

    Newer Older

This is the ground-breaking Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1. The SX-70 was the first integral print camera model from the Polaroid Corporation, featuring technology that allowed image development that progressed totally on its own, with no user input - the "peel-apart" process was no longer necessary when using this camera. Even more impressive, Polaroid managed to accomplish this with a revolutionary design: the SX-70 was a SLR (single-lens reflex) configuration that was actually capable of folding down to a thin package for transport and storage. The original SX-70 went through several upgrades, eventually leading to this model.

Its awesome. I have found 3 amazing Polaroids cause I've been wanting to explore with Polaroid film, I didn't have a clue that 1st, you can't get that film anymore! and 2nd the people that do carry it, it's like my GOD, 200.00 for a pack and even more, so upset at myself for not doing research, but for know they are part of my collection, I hope one day to play with theme, if those prices ever come down!..
