Over The Trenches | Werner Voss Triplane Replica
[HD Wallpaper — Prints best within 67 x 38 cm / 26 x 15 inches]
A replica of the Fokker F.I Triplane prototype piloted by Werner Voss in 1917, during The First World War. The F.I was the forerunner of the Fokker Dr.I Triplane, which was first produced in August of that same year at the Fokker Works in Schwerin, Germany. Though the triplane concept was first introduced by the allies, Anthony Fokker's triplane or dreidecker would come to symbolize German WWI aviation more than any other plane.
