my head is dizzy now, I thought we'd overcome

Get Up by Barcelona

Their music is perfect for any time of the year, but I find it especially fitting on rainy days, cold days, and autumn days.

It helps that they're from Seattle, where it's always raining.

This band inspires me so much.

I want to do actual planned shots from their songs soon.

(Right now, this just what I'm listening to.)

I also want to try some 'levitation' shots. They have always intrigued me, though --like every other SP in my head-- I'm sure they won't come out right at the moment because the only shape I'm in is round.

Anyway, yesterday I mentioned that I want to start blogging.

Yes. This is true.

I have had a photo blog on since April 2009, but I have only used it three times since then. (And one post I deleted, so there are only two currently on there.)

Besides, I hate having long explanations (like this one!!) after my photos on my Flickr stream.

That's what I want my blog to be: the place for me to explain my photos, my inspirations behind them (if there were any) and also to share any new inspirations I may have.

I want Flickr to become the place where I share my most current personal work, and be more about the photographs themselves rather than the stories behind them.

I'm sure every now and then I will post a pic with a few more lines than I'm imagining right now; I am typically a verbose person. =0)

So, my dear Flickrites, be looking for more lengthy updates on my blog.

And if you get a chance, you can always find me on my website.

Yes, it appears I've been withholding quite a bit from you, doesn't it?

Believe me, I've wanted to share this news with everyone.

It just took me this long to get over my fears and inhibitions.

And now? I have come to realize that I just don't care.

Haters will always exist, in every facet of life.

I can let the bad juju drag me down, or I can ignore it.

I choose to ignore it. As of this moment. And that is a very freeing thing.
