Tutorial #3 - Color Range based Selections Rock

This tutorial will probably be the most helpful one I've shared yet. Having Photoshop create a selection for you based on somewhere that you click on your image (meaning you click on a bright part to select bright ranges from your entire photo) allows you to easily select in a way that would be a nightmare if you tried by using just the magic wand.......

May this help all your halos disappear !! Remember, the key is HUGE feather amounts and not too drastic in the steps between exposures. If you don't have multiple exposures (shots) that were taken when you were shooting, if you shot RAW, you can open and create a duplicate image with different RAW settings - so use this to bring up the exposure level (or down to fix some overblown highlights) of this duplicate so you can do this tutorial with these 2 identical shots (with different RAW settings) instead of 2 totally different shots.
