THE CONTROVERSY SURROUNDING HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE ..

I was very skeptical and afraid about posting this pic because I was afraid that it might hurt or offend someone .. I took it a few months ago as you can look at the exif data and see .. I finally decided to post it as it is a VERY SERIOUS MATTER .. .. If it offends anybody please accept my deepest apologies ..

This picture is about the realities of HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE and what can happen if we don't do the required things to take care of our bodies ..

High blood pressure is an important risk factor for heart attack, stroke and other cardiovascular problems. All races are represented among the estimated 50 million Americans who have high blood pressure — defined as a systolic pressure of 140 or higher or a diastolic pressure of 90 or higher. But some races — African-Americans in particular — suffer disproportionately from high blood pressure.

The rate of high blood pressure for African-Americans in the U.S. ranks among the highest in the world, according to the American Heart Association. More than 36% of African-American men have high blood pressure, compared to 25.2% for white men and 24.2% for Hispanic men. The comparative rates for women are similar.

We ALL need to make sure to take care of ourselves and do what we can to take care of the vessel that we have been given. I definitely intend to get back into a regimen before I have to use these pills in this pic again ..
