Snowy Owl

SW of Morinville, Sturgeon County, AB, Canada


Photographed with the evening sunlight coming from left of where I was standing. I was hoping this owl would hunt a bit for some flight photography.


Because this bird is mostly white, I'm giving another B&W touch (with a tiny bit of sepia tone, film grain, and vignetting) to this photo. The clouds against the blue sky sure adds to the photo, IMO.

    i have only been doing photography for two years, but i think your b/w image is beter than the colour, to me, it is more dramatic and has a mystical feel to it, just my opinion, love it.
