Golden Gate from Marin Headlands

This picture was taken from Conzelman Road just beneath Hawk Hill and Battery 129. Alcatraz is the island on the left in the bay. Downtown San Francisco is near center. To the right is fog over the Presidio. A few minutes after this picture was taken, fog enveloped the area. It was kind of cool to experience but makes for hideous picture taking.

I've been wanting to come to the Marin Headlands area for years. Wish the weather would have cooperated more and that there wasn't so much construction and traffic. The bike riders were awful! I'll definitely have to come back. There are lots of trails to hike and interesting things to see.
