The front view of Notre-Dame Cathedral... We went there by late night, my gorillapod set on the floor... made other views of it, but thought just this straight look would bring out all the glory of this masterpiece!

The shot

13 seconds exposure in RAW/ISO100 at f/13 using the 10-20 Sigma lens.

Camera Raw

A little temperature warm adjustment and some vibrance increase.

°Unsharp mask in Lightness channel on Lab Color mode.

°Decreased Yellow saturation in RGB Color mode.

All comments, criticism and tips for improvements are ( as always ) welcome.

Tips and tricks and quotations from here and there

Here are some Spacebar useful shortcuts in Photoshop:

1. When using the Crop tool (C), press-and-hold the Spacebar

to reposition the crop box if you get it in the wrong

place as you’re setting it.

2. Press the Spacebar when no editing action is active to turn

the cursor into the Hand tool. This lets you click-and-drag

around your image if it’s larger than the screen display.

3. When used in conjunction with the Ctrl key, the Spacebar changes the cursor into the Zoom tool.

To zoom out, add the Alt key to the mix.
