    Week 18 - Burrito

The theme for week 18 originated from an inside joke stemming from an offhand joke I made in my plea for someone in the group to setup a 52 Week Project (because I was too lazy to do it myself). I had a list of questions about people's interest in the project with the last being, "Do you like burritos?" Jason, who ended up picking up the project cleverly included burritos in the theme list.

Great shot, Brian. Love the colors and texture and the way that the color of the plate matches the tomatoes. I remember the "burrito banter" and wonder what happened to "up" as a theme. Can we get that back as we now have two occurences of "texture" (2/8 and 10/31)?

This has such a clean, bright, light-weight salad-y feel -- unlike most burritos I've had. My neato burritos are often stuck to the aluminum foil in which they're served.

Not to pigeon-hole you or anything, but your previously-demonstrated style of side- and back- window lighting shows more depth -- you may want to try to emulate those "natural" light angles no matter what your light source is.

You're right, I was too lazy to do any bounce. I moved the light all over and this was the best angle to achieve the most flattering look at the contents of the burrito (some of the other angles looked horrific for the innards). That being said some fill here and there would soften it up a bit.

Hmm, didn't notice the duplicate. Bring it to Jason's attention, I'm sure he would be happy to replace it.
