Souls Entwined

Come entwine thyself within my soul,

Let no pretense besmirch this interweaving,

Allow no falsehoods to mar our precious time,

Far too soon this world we shall be leaving.

Let us be as one though separate,

Without denial of our truth nor trust,

To travel this road to the unattainable,

Such bondage in love is a must.

Sit beside me and share creation,

All the wonders and glory below and on high,

Reach in to this soul, taste and share it,

Drink of the nectar ‘fore it passes by.

Walk beside me making all things possible,

Even dark clouds will then cease to exist,

Time is short till the final curtain,

There is so much that mustn't be missed.

Lie beside me through sunrises and moonbeams,

Hold me close when storms threaten this tranquility,

Take me deep in your cup let me fill it,

Come entwine all thyself within me.
