Its an 8-Track Tape Player, Baaabbby

    Newer Older

I plugged it in the other day and barely got any noise out of it. Too bad, I was hoping to sell it on E-Bay for some big money. It came from my mom's house.

Ahhhhhh the old 8 track, I can remember when my dad had the fancy new 8 track in the car all those years ago.

!Kengaroo - My first car (A 1977 Toyota Celica coup) had an 8-track in it. I learned to drive the stick to the sounds of the B-Gees while vacationing in Palm Springs with my dad.

Smosh lvr - I would bet this is about 30-35 years old. Probably made in the 1970's.

That is so groovy. I bet you could still get some $ for it, even not functional.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Historic 8-track tapes and 8-track tape players., and we'd love to have this added to the group!

Man, your aquatron is in mighty fine cosmetic condition! Too bad it doesn't work.... maybe you could still sell it for parts?

I just put a new belt in my aquatron today, so I can now enjoy 8-tracks for the first time in my life! BTW, the 8-track motor in my aquatron states "21 Aug 72", so the aquatrons would've been made at least during the early 1970s.
