Gold Hill Then & Now 3

Gold Hill, Nevada was 1 mile west of Virginia City and also situated on the Comstock Silver Lode. The ravine was filled with homes, businesses, mines and ore-processing mills and the Virginia and Truckee Railroad in the 1860-1900 period. Decline and open pit mining has drastically altered the view.
