Carnasserie Castle is on a ridge above the Kilmartin valley. A ruined 16th century combined tower house and hall, home of John Carswell, first Protestant Bishop of the Isles and translator of the first book printed in Gaelic. Argyll Scotland.Historic Scotland property.
