Torch lily (Kniphofia uvaria) - San Francisco Botanical Garden

On this day I left the tripod and flexbody at home and just did an afternoon photo stroll with my Mamiya7 and a mono-pod. I pretty much focused the Lens as close as possible and moved toward the subject until It came in focus. I shot at f5.6 as this seems to be the sweet spot in regards to sharpness (and gives me at least a little Depth of Field).
