Great shot of this Chickadee with a yummy meal!!
Not sure about these new changes. I know I can't afford $50/yr for an account with no ads... sigh.

There is a petition going if you want to complain about it. Like everything I am sure we will get used to it. I think I will probably pay not to have the ads as I really hate Facebook and all it's rubbish. Fabulous capture Rebecca

This is a fabulous shot! Does the chickadee have babies to feed? It would be so neat to have such an up close view of this family.
I don't like this new format either. I don't understand the opening page. I don't like the thumbnail on the side and the comments going through the photo on the left. It looks like Google now. Get some imagination Flickr admin and do something original. I'm tired of retreads of old ideas. Anyway I hope that Keiko was well all weekend and that you were able to enjoy your new camera??

Beautiful capture, Suzy and I are completely confused, there is a lot of searching to find out what we already knew! Wish us luck!

Thanks everyone for your comments. I had to turn off my computer early last night as Keiko was vomiting and in distress. She had eaten really well all day--maybe too much food. She got sick after being given her evening medication...so am sure that set things off for her delicate tummy.

I had not heard about the $50 annual fee to avoid ads. Oh gosh.....I'll pay it but sure seems like we're paying more and getting less.

Great chickadee shot and bonus that it has a bug!! I like the larger photos and with the new layout of the photostream I find myself seeing much more of my contacts work then just the first 5 images. In time we will all adjust. :)

Very impressive picture - I would never guess it was taken through the window! I can't believe how close you were able to zoom in and that you captured the warm too. I just got on flickr this morning and saw the new look for the first time. I still don't know how to navigate it all but I love the look! It displaces both our own photostreams and other peoples' so well. I can't figure out where the "action" tag is so I can easily add my pictures to different groups. Oh well, I will probably find it by mistake pretty soon.

It certainly doesn't look as if this was taken through glass! What a fantastically clear shot of this lovely little bird holding its tasty morsel of food. I think everyone was a bit shell-shocked at first to see such dramatic changes to the site we've all grown so used to. There seems to be a lot of negative feeling about it, but it will be interesting to see how everyone feels when they've got used to it. I'm really missing the negative white space which allowed the images to 'breathe'. It all feels a bit claustrophobic to me at the moment.

What a fantastic shot of this chickadee with the grub! It looks so close and I think it will feel well fed after it eats that! (Unless that grub is destined for babies' meals)

Great shot. I like some of the new Flickr and dislike some. Now that I'm starting to learn to navigate I might grow to like it.
