London - Albert Bridge Reflections at Twilight

Albert Bridge - London, UK.

Albert Bridge, which was closed to the public for extensive work for almost two years reopened a few days ago. I have wanted to photograph this bridge since I moved to the UK and finally got the chance to do it last night. It is brilliantly lit with 4,000 lights and is definitely a great candidate for a bridge shot at twilight or at night.

Albert Bridge in West London connects Chelsea on the north bank to Battersea on the south bank. It was designed and built by Rowland Mason Ordish in 1873. Its unusual color scheme is designed to increase visibilty during poor lighting conditions, and avoid being damaged by collisions with shipping.
