Wroclaw - Tumski Bridge and the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist

Tumski Bridge and the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist - Wroclaw, Poland.

It's always nice to walk through these romantic European bridges. In Wroclaw, the lovers' bridge would be this, the Tumski Bridge, that leads you to the beautiful cathedral. Here, lovers 'lock their love' in a padlock which they hook into the bridge, and then toss the key into the river.

Tumski Bridge is one of the 140 bridges that cross the Oder river in Wrocław. Constructed in 1889, and formerly known as Dombrücke, this steel bridge replaced an old wooden bridge to connect Ostrów Tumski and Wyspa Piaskowa.
