Zaragoza - Puente de Piedra and La Seo Cathedral on the River Ebro
Puente de Piedra - Ebro River - Zaragoza, Spain.
This is one of my favorite spots on the river because I can see many things with this vantage point, although the odor of the river itself is a little too tough to bear. The bridge you see through one of the arches is the Iron Bridge, and the spire of La Seo Cathedral can be seen on the right. The Basilica, not seen here, is just to my right.
Zaragoza is not the most popular Spanish city but it has its own appeal, with its Basilica-Cathedral of Our Lady of the Pillar being the spotlight and its most-admired landmark. With the Expo 2008 having taken place here, a new face of the city has emerged, adding in a modern twist to its old-world charm.
