Strasbourg, France

One of Strasbourg's most iconic sites is the Pont Couverts, with its four towers spanning the bridge. Seen here are 2 of the towers: the Heinrichs-Tower, and the Hans-von-Altenheim-Tower.

I came into this location later than I had wished as I was running around the popular Petite France and trying to get past the maddening crowd. This is not the vantage point that I wanted either; the terrace of the Grand Ecluse which offered a nice sweeping view of the towers and the Strasbourg Cathedral was closed, and that left me with limited options. My only saving grace towards an acceptable shot is that the sky still had enough blue for me to work with.
