Birds of the Breadalbane Glens.
Breadalbane is an anglified corruption of the gaelic "Bràghaid Albainn" -the high country of Scotland. Whilst originally it encompassed the southern and central Highlands north of the river Forth today the name primarily refers to the area of Perthshire west of the A9.
This part of Scotland is often ignored by birders in preference to the Angus Glens or Speyside but it holds good numbers of interesting birds in some beautiful locations.
