DL46 at Kooragang Island

DL46 and DL42 stand alongside the Mountain Industries container pad on Kooragang Island, having just brought freight 1421 in from Cooks River in Sydney. The standard containers will be removed from the train for loading, and replaced with open top "Mountain Industries" containers. The two DL class will then take the train to Werris Creek coal mine to load these containers with coal. Upon returning to Kooragang Island, the loaded coal containers will be swapped out with the now loaded export containers for transport to Port Botany in Sydney, and the whole cycle will begin again.
