As SHE walks down memory lane
This was shot at Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bright daylight ...sun at 45 deg behind the structure....hence the light on the top.
A historic little town between Nagarkot and Kathmandu. Wonderful architecture in wood.
I took this handheld - 7 exposures, no support. Had forgotten my tripod in the car and in no mood to walk back.
Severel hundred tourists crossing in and out of the frame every few seconds. After several attempts this local lady (unique) entered my frame from behind.......plain timing and luck and maybe a bit of patience. !
1. The complex to the right is made entirely of wood. for this tone mapping works best, which I did from 5 exp.
2. The rest of the scene is from a single exposure , toned, exposed to match the right flank.
