Singapore Grand Funk Railroad

    Newer Older

    Grand LARGE View

One of the oldest railway bridges in Singapore. This line goes into Malaysia and has trains operated by the Malayan Railway. BTW, the bridge is naturally lop sided i.e, the left side is longer than the right. sun is right behind us.

Daniel and I went for a shoot after a relatively long gap. Daniel, I felt the reservoir on the woodcutter's trail was one of the finest moments experienced . :-))))

This shot goes out to my friend Rob Robbins and Anindya. Rob, I remembered the Sim's bridge from yr posts and then also found another one in the link above. Anindya, yr shot of the Howrah stayed in my mind.

This is tone mapped for mostly the bridge section. Blending few exposures for the rest - sky, greenery and some masking for the rest

Its really cool how those tracks give the impression that they are sucking the entire subject down with them as if water through a drain.

Wow. Excellent shot. Love the details on the wall and ironwork. Better than being there.
