    this is cool. how do you have a slow shutter to blur the background but the foreground is still full of detail ... look at her bangs and the stitching on her purse. ... you so clever

    I usually shoot by just controlling aperture, so I kept closing it down until I got a slow enough shutter speed that I could still comfortably hand hold (in this case about 1/20 sec).

    The rest was luck, just waiting for a car to come by that was fast enough. Thank goodness for the lcd on the back to check after each car :)
