to use knitting lingo, I'm stash busting...

Newer Older

It's probably my flickr obsession that fuels my desire to have lots of photos showing my knitting projects in-progress. I have an excess of this yarn in my stash and I need to use it up before I get to buy lovelier yarn with which to knit various things for me. I'll be on the coast at Christmastime and I intend to visit my favourite wool shop in Victoria and I'll drag Aryn to the one on the other island (if it's any good).

Tonight I started my latest stash-busting project, a little shrug from the Fitted Knits book. I started a basic sweater last year with this yarn, but I didn't like how it was turning out (wasn't really happy with the yarn/colour for a larger sweater).

This should be done relatively quickly and is good practice for future sweater projects that require raglan shaping.

Stashbusting...good for you! I need to force myself to do that again; the stash is becoming unruly again!
