Soaptree Yucca at Sunset
I decided to try out the "new" Minolta Rokkor 58 mm f/1.2 lens that I purchased on eBay. I have been shooting primarily digital 99.9% of the time. It was a nice change of pace to load up my Minolta SRT-101 with a roll of Fuji Velvia and really put this lens through its paces. This lens really generates beautiful bokeh. Exposure was about 1/500 of a second at f2.0 to f/4.5. These yucca flowers are vivid white, the Velvia really picked up the golden glow from a setting sun on the flowers.
