FANTASTIC! I am researching theatres in Tennessee and wasn't aware that there was one left in Camden. The only Court Theatre I have located to date is one in Huntingdon. Do you happen to recall the street address of this theatre? Here is a group devoted to these architectural jewels of Tennessee. Really would appreciate if you could share this as well as any other related photos with our humble assembly.

I grew up and lived in Camden for about 30 years (1972-2003). The only Court Theater that I know of is on the Court Square in Huntingdon (and i'm pretty sure that it's the one pictured here), about 20 or so miles west of Camden. This Photo is mislabled. I believe that there was a "Dixie Theater" in Camden many, many years ago (maybe on the Court Square?) and also, there was a drive-in on the west side of town (I think it was called "Valley Drive-In" or something similar. The drive-in closed probably in the mid to late 80's.

Upon further research, I beleve that the old Drive-In in Camden was "Midway" The name "Valley" was the one in Humphries County, between New Johnsonville and Waverly.
