      Brilliant capture, Rolf! Question for you - did you make a template for your scanner so you could get the film edges? My Epson cuts off the markings and there are times I would love to have them.

      @lars: thanks! i hope youre aware of the fact that this is no added frame or vignette but real film :)

      @arachide: the canon cuts off the markings too when using the holder. to scan with sprocket holes/markings i just place the film on the glass directly and put a piece of non reflective glass on top of it to keep it flat. from what i've heard this works with epson scanners too... (there are online stores selling non reflective scanner glass but you can actually just buy an a4-picture frame with non reflective glass for a few bucks... i paid about $3 for mine and it works perfectly)

      damn rolf you're taking loads of shots, one can't afford to slack on your stream :) been checking out what i've missed, it's good as always. I love the frame this shot got, is it the negative frame or how does that appare?
