Great shot again. What's that outside the window, party propaganda?

    3. Victor Schiferli 54 months ago | reply

It's unbelievable you actually went there let alone take pictures. Fascinating.

      thanks guys

richard - i just took a holiday there because everyone else goes away in august, it seems

long man - yea, the station was a "show piece" so there was lots of propaganda and art work everywhere. similar to the moscow underground. the trains were from the GDR.

victor - ha! thanks. it's a great place to go on holiday to. i'd recommend it!

Thanks Steve, but I first have plans for a holiday in Somalia. Maybe next year though.

Fantastic. Love the dead-eyed expression, says so much.

ha, I just wanted to write that they seemingly have bought old Berlin underground trains :-)

That's a great photo. A puzzle, trying to read his face, understand what his existence is like...

Why do I get the impression this is a performance piece?

    14. quixotic54 54 months ago | reply

You're probably right. Everything in the underground station was pretty weird, particulary the Koreans who were in the carrage with us when we travelled one stop.

There are a very feew tour companies that organise trips to DPR Korea. A quick internet search may bring up one or two of them. But these are unusual photos and I doubt they were officially sanctioned, so all the better to see them.
