Forest Green Rovers vs Oxford United

FGR 0 Oxford 1.

Players coming out onto the pitch.

This was a game of three thirds rather than the usual two halves. There was a fifteen minute break during the 'first half' caused by a power blackout. James Constable scored the only goal with a superb strike from the corner of the penalty area. Oxford fielded two new strikers - Francis Green who had a good game and Onome Sodje who came on as sub and looked fast and skilful. The game was spoiled by the wind which kept all the play to one end with Oxford defending for nearly all the first half (but taking the lead) and FGR defending throughout the second half.
