    umm...when i mix paper piecing and improv piecing, i sometimes back myself into a corner where y-seams are the only way out...

      It's so cute Melinda!! You could perhaps sew the Y seams by hand it's a little easier that way...

      Leila that's a good idea. i actually machine stitched this already, but i cut the notch before stitching the corner and i cut it too deep, so i have to rip it and redo it. i shouldn't have gotten ahead of myself...

      Penny thanks, Penny :) i screwed up my first attempt at the y-seams (i clipped too too close to the seam) so i still have to fix it. i probably shouldn't have teased Charise with a picture of this so long ago.
