practice shot using new tripod. minimum post-processing for once.

little back story in regards to the location of this shot. this was taken at Gravelly Point in Arlington. it's about two football fields outside of DC's Nat'l Airport. it makes for incredible shots since it's an actual park where you can literally watch planes only 100s of feet above you coming in for a landing. it's a rush every single time it comes straight for you, passes right above then makes its landing.

so... if you're looking for something to do on a beautiful day while visiting Washington DC, try something besides following the tourist books.

pack a lunch and blanket, grab your camera/tripod and be amazed!
