Back in the early 1990s, when the EFE lorry range was limited to just the Mammoth Major and Atkinson, Marquis Models of Wollaston produced a range of whitemetal replacement cabs. This is their AEC Ergomatic which predated EFE's own version and was reputedly cast from a modified Lone Star fire engine. I acquired this cab cheaply and came up with the idea of grafting it onto a Base Toys chassis, a surprisingly easy task; note the half-open passenger window which came about because this section of the moulded glazing was damaged and also provided access to ensure the interior was level. The rather colourful living wagon towed behind HYH 364K is a Langley kit from eBay.
