Swan's Island, June 3, 2011

Beachcombing series No.35

The beaches on this island have the most wonderful assortment of stones. Plenty of coarse-grained granite (the salt-and-pepper stone at center and the pinkish-orange at center right), and a lot that I think are jasper (the pinkish leopard-spotted one at top right), and some basalt (the dark gray ones). No idea what the dark pink one with light stripes is. Maybe another jasper?
