Juvenile Red-Shouldered Hawk

The baby red-shouldered hawks born on our street are getting bigger. This one likes to visit the large Eucalyptus tree across from my house and makes quite a lot of noise. A Beautiful Specimen. I've read that Red-Shouldered Hawks are in decline in numbers due to the increase in Red-Tailed Hawks in our area. I haven't done a lot of research on this but it is worth noting I think.
