Joseph's Coat

This quilt was pieced in the early 1980's by my mother-in-law, Helen, using some pieces of fabric her mother Cora had cut out, as well as some pieces from her own stash. Some of the fabrics are from dresses I had made when I was expecting Paul; I had given the scraps to Helen and they ended up inthis quilt! The top was one of two unfinished tops in Helen's collection. I hand-quilted and bound it, and the quilt now belongs to our older son Paul and his wife Jenny. This quilt measures 81" X 87".
