Spicy Sweet Potato Soup

This is a pretty awesome sweet potato soup, very hot and spicy, but a hint of cream and turkish yoghurt balance things out :) The original recipe is from a finnish cooking blog, Perunamaa, here's my variation:

- 500 g sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped

- 2 large potatoes, peeled and chopped

- 2 large carrots, peeled and chopped

- 1 white onion, peeled and finely chopped

- 2 cloves of garlic, peeled and finely chopped

- 1 tsp curry

- 2 cubes of vegetable bouillon

- 2 tblsp lime juice

- 1 tsp crushed chili

- 2 dl turkish yoghurt

Fry the onions in a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil in a cooking pot. Add curry and stir for a while. Add vegetables. Pour water into the pot until the vegetables are barely covered, and heat until things start to boil. Add in the bouillon cubes, correct the seasoning with lime juice and chili. Allow the soup to take it's time boiling, and when things look ripe and well, blend the soup with a blender. Add in the yoghurt (I love turkish yoghurt, but one could use cream, creme fraiche, cheese or whatever), and boil for a minute or two. Add final touches with salt and pepper, serve with turkish yoghurt and parsley.
