Images from the Olandt Family of Port Washington, New York

William H. and Anna Olandt resided with their children at 15 North Maryland Avenue in Port Washington, New York. William Olandt, born in Brooklyn in 1872, was a local purveyor of eggs and butter. He was a member of the Flower Hill Hose Company of the Port Washington Fire Department and an active member of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Port Washington. The Olandts had three children, Helen, John, and William. Helen Olandt (1899-1989) was a life-time resident of Port Washington.
