On a String

It was still quite foggy yesterday at the beach. So I decided to try to use a tripod and flash to get some good light. This female or juvenile Lesser Goldfinch seemed to hold its own at the feeder even though it is only about four inches long. The House Finches didn't seem to peck at it to move as much as they did each other. The background is the trunk of the banana tree. I did nothing to the color in the shot and was surprised to see that the colors looked very similar!
