The end of the year - Day 137 of Project 365
This is my backup shot for today..... I have planned something slightly "different" (as in, completely way out different, but I may revisit that before this 365 is over) the freezing fog that seems to have descended has put the mockers on that........... I might just wait in the new year here in the field.
A funny thing happened whilst I was taking this shot, you have to bear in mind that visibility was about 3 or 4 meters at best. I set the self timer and jumped into position. Just as I settled I heard a horse running/thundering full tilt towards me...... "sh*t, there’s horses in this field" I thought......... my hand is slightly blurred because I was just about to jump up to dodge this invisible horse coming out the fog. As it happens the horse was the other side of a fence ...that I could not see in the fog. It seems that the beeps from the self timer were winding it up... I didn’t want to risk it jumping the fence, so this is the only shot I got......
This was also for the last FGR task of 2008 "Goodbye My Love"
As for the Haiku:
The old year is out,
