Lifeline Mosaic in Marquette Building

The hexagonal railing around the lobby atrium is decorated with a mosaic frieze by the Tiffany studio depicting events in the life of Jacques Marquette. Additional decoration on the building includes bronze heads of native Americans, animals, and early explorers., plus revolving door panels featuring the carvings of panther's heads (which were done by the same sculptor who did the Lions at the Art Institute).
