International Farm Camp, Tiptree, UK, 1966.

Just found a photo from the young "tender age". Some weeks before this photo was taken, we were in Thames TV studio in London, during live taping "Yellow submarine" by the Beatles, for the "Top Twenty" Saturday live broadcasting by Eurovision too. Of course, many screaming 16 - 18 year old girls were around.

This camp was well known, you know - picking strawberries (Beatles: "Strawberry fields forever!") and other fruits.

All toghether (4 of us: Jerko, Jadranka, Maja & I), we were there almost 3 months, all our visas expired and after crossing Channel, going back to Croatia, in Oostende we were seperated as dramatic runs to get new visas started - eventually 4 days later were together again in Koeln, Germany...but, that is another story!

We were young (all between 20 and 24 yrs young) and that saved us of going nuts! At least our famous Fiat 1300 run fine (well, on the way north Fiat's engine exploded on the autobahn near Aachen... but, that is another story!).

Driving south, we stopped for (planned) few days in Salzburg (the most beautiful city in Europe, Mozart, etc.) and then the girls from Split, through tears declared: - we want to go home, to Split...., but, that is another story!
