Yellow-eyed penguins

    Newer Older

From our 5-day Easter getaway to the Otago Peninsula near Dunedin including Oamaru and the Moeraki Boulders. We saw yellow-eyed penguins, fur seals and sea lions, albatrosses and some beautiful rural landscapes. During our four-night stay at Fantail Cottage in Broad Bay we visited Tunnel Beach, Sandfly Bay, Allans Beach, Pilots Beach, Penguin Place, Taiaroa Head, The Chasm & Lovers Leap at Sandymount Reserve, Port Chalmers and Aramoana. We also kayaked in Otago Harbour and I walked up and down the world's steepest street; Baldwin Street in Dunedin.

A lovely photo Nathanael! We shared it with our Wildside NZ community Facebook page to celebrate all things penguin. Your attribution is in the comments. Hope that's okay :-) www.facebook.com/wildsidenz/photos/a.311962708948526.1073...
