Pathé Schouwburgplein, Rotterdam - front, day

The "Pathé Schouwburgplein", one of Pathé's first puprose-built multiplexes with 7 screens opened on March 27th of 1996, and was then the biggest cinemacomplex of the Netherlands, with Auditorium 1 (762 seats) and 7 are quite huge, with a large screen and seating capacity. Number 1 is actually the largest in the country. Many of the auditoriums look like college / university auditoriums with the wooden finish seats in stadium order, grey carpeted walls, and have actually been used as such during the day! Total seating capacity is 2722 seats,

Designed by architect Koen van Velsen in 1992.
