HDR Cow

Newer Older

Taken in Malham, Yorkshire.

The sky's a bit bleached out, but I left it that way, as otherwise the cow kind of blended into the clouds and didn't stand out so much, maybe should have used a different DOF to blur the background?

Since your photo was used in the Wired article, can you tell us which direction the cow was facing when photographed? : -)

Fantastic shot! One question for you: how do you get the cow to remain so sharp and still get the HDR effect? Did you only use one (best exposed) frame for the cow, or did you composite multiple?
